Sümeg is sighted in a valley that connects Keszthely hills to Kisalföld /Small Plains/ and Tapolca basin, in the Southwest corner of Bakony hills. The town can be reached by both arriving from the Southern coast of Lake Balaton and via Zalaegerszeg, Győr and Veszprém. In the settlement rich with Baroque historic buildings there is a two storey, one starred hostel with central heating, standing right under the castle. Each room has hot and cold running water, there are showers on each floor as well as rooms with shower. The world famous Héviz spa can be found nearby.
