Taking a rest or having a leisure. Doing the best for a comfortable stay of our guests. All of our double-bed and 3-bed rooms have separated bathroom, TV set, and telephone-too. Reception and roomservice are available for your comfort. In the Drink bar You can taste a wide range of refreshments, and alcoholic drinks. All of our employees are kindly at your service, please, call for our services: car rental, transmission of messages, forwarding of postal packets, change, telefax, copying, wake-up service, information about the various programmes of the town. Airport transfer: Our guest are kindly welcome at Wien/Schwechat airport, also they are transferred back when departing. Our service is free when staying for at least 7 days. Free bicycle rental: Our guests can use cycles of the guests house. It is an opportunity for you to get around using cycle. A sport way to go on excursion on a paved yard. Riding faciliti: Our guest house has a connection whit Brennberg Riding Club which can be found 4 miles (6 kms) far. All the services of the club are offered to our guest having 10% discount. Opportunities for pleasent riding and renting horses. A special Hungarian type gulash-party is organised for ten persons in the pictonesque Brennberg woods. Childern are kindly welcome to know the experience of riding. Dental services: When required we organise our guests` dental service. A free operating plan is made by Novodent Ltd. you are given a 10% discount of the final amount. Tűztorony: (Fire Tower) Undoubtedly a symbol of Sopron. It is generaly known as founded in the Roman Age, otherwise it can be originated from the "Árpád" (Early Medieval) period. The Tower, whit its defensive position, provided shelter to dwellers, also, with its gate, it had a passage-way to carts. Climb the tower for the brillant view of the pictoresque city or of the 70 km far Austrian mountain called "Scneeberg". Várkerület: The most significante boulevard of the city. Situated by the old city walls and fortress it is the centre of shopping and dining out. Most of the buildings are unique masterpiece of architecture. Mária szobor ("Statue of Blessed Virgin Mary") erected in 1744, a former place of pillory and a popular meeting point now. Fő tér: (Main Square) A beautiful medieval square in the heart of the city. Mentioned in and old manuscript from 1379, but it used to be the Roman Forum of the ancient city called Scarbantia. In the centre of the square is the baroque masterpiece of Szentháromság szobor (The Statue of Trinity) from 1701. Behind the allegoric statue you can find Kecske-templom, an early gothic former Franciscan and later Benedictian church. ("The Churc of Blessed Virgin") mentioned as "Goat Church" by Sopron citizens. Fővényverem: A pictoresque centre of narrow streets with traditional atmosphere. Our guest could have seen this spectacle from a window of our guest house. Situated in the centre of important commercial routes (e.g. to Wien or W. Neustadt), the square had significance, also it had an inn named Fekete Sas ("The Black Eagle") from the 18th century. This title became the name of the square itself afterwards. The location of our guest house offers you special adventages. The "Sas tér" ("Eagle Square") can be found by taking only some footsteps from the historical city centre, otherwise it provides fresh air and nice atmosphere. Choose our guest house to spend some beautiful days in the city or just to relax, take walks or dine out. You can leave your car in our safety car park while making excursions, getting around or enjoying the special quality of Sopron wine and genuine Sopron meal offered by many of the nearby restaurants.
