The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the thermal spa, we have an own entrance towards the spa. Most of our apartments have balconies with pool view. Due to the direct connection, unlimited access is ensured to the spa facilities which are reachable by 2 minutes walk. The hotel operates since 2002, by the last enlargement realised in 2007 we have had 24,  air-conditioned rooms located on ground-floor, first floor and second floor. An elevator runs till first floor. While building the apartments an important aspect was to realize the standard of a three stars hotel room combined with the utility of the built-in kitchen corner. The apartments are for 2-3 or 4 persons, with bathroom, TV, phone, internet connection and electric-cooker, refrigerator as well as microwave oven in the kitchen corner. The customized beech furnitures and the full orthopaedic mattresses make the relaxation complete. The hotel has a finnish sauna, an infrared sauna as well as a drink bar. It is upon your choice whether you book your apartment without or with beakfast, containing cold and hot meals. The camera-inspected private parking place has a capacity of 15 cars.

The Health Spa of Komárom

The spa is based on the 58ºC thermal water coming up from 1263 meters depth since 1965. The treatments of the therapeutic section (carbonated bath, weight bath, effervescent bath, mud treatment, massage, therapeutic exercises, underwater jet massage, electrotherapy) are perfectly suitable for the cure of the following diseases: - Degenerative spinal disorders, abrasional joint diseases (sclerosis, inflammation, arthritis, chronic myalgia, epicondilitis) - Post treatment of orthopaedic and neurosurgical operations (slipped disc, locomotor mutations, vascular stricture) - Chronic gynaecological conditions (some kinds of barrenness, menopause) The spa is one of the country's health centers who dispose with the official "health spa" qualification. The spa provides an excellent possibility of relaxation not only for those who wish to be recovering, but also for those who prefer the active recreation. Among the thermal pool an indoor swimming pool, one indoor and one outdoor child pools, two 50 meters outdoor pools as well as sauna, solarium, massage are all for the guest's disposal. Due to the last development project in 2005 all the pools have been renewed and the spa has enriched with an indoor thermal pool, a jakuzzi, and a new hall with elevator.

The town of Komárom

Komárom is a town with 20000 inhabitants, situated on the right bank of the Danube, on the north-western part of Hungary. Passing on the motorway M1 its distance from Budapest is 90 km, and 120 km from the western border of the country. The town is connected with the Slovakian Northern-Komárom by a highway and a railway bridge. The past of Komárom goes back to the ancient times. From the 1st century A.D. a military camp named Legio I Adiutrix, and a village, named Brigetio have been built up here as part of the Roman Empire. Later in the 19th century, the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy's largest fortress complex has been constructed in Komárom which has remained until nowdays and which is the scene of several cultural and musical events and exhibitions during the year. The curiosity of the town is that its two sides lay on the territories of two different countries, Hungary and Slovakia. However by a slight walk you can reach the other bank, since only the Danube and the Elizabeth bridge separate the two sides. The life of Southern and Northern Komárom links up through cultural and economic issues as well. Starting from the hotel on foot, the city centre is only a couple of minutes to walk under the old trees of the Jókai Park. From there, crossing the bridge you arrive to the historical centre of Northern-Komárom where it is nice to pause in one of the several cafes and restaurants. The pedestrian precinct ends in the tarnished Klapka square and the Europe courtyard whith its buildings designed in many different European architectural styles.
