Sá-Ra Termál - Hegykő „A small spa with great healing power“

The village Hegykő is located near the shore of Lake Fertő, 20 km and 5 km away from the towns of Sopron and Fertőd, respectively. Most of its natural environment belongs to the territory of the Fertő-Hanság National Park, which has been accepted as a UNECO World Heritage Site in 2001. In recent years, the municipality has been organizing cultural programs in the village (Days of Fine Arts, Hegykőer Merrymaking and the Winter Concerts) with the intention of starting a tradition.

The water of the Hegykőer hot spring, a rather hard mineral water, holds a high level of dissolved solids comprising sodium chloride, alkaline hydrogen carbonate, fluoride and sulfur with a significantly high iodide content. The water is brought to the surface from a depth of 1434 meters, with a temperature of 55°C.
The health care facility, in close proximity to the swimming pools, also open throughout the winter, offers massage therapies, mud baths, high-pressure water massages and underwater remedial exercises for all those who wish to refresh themselves and heal. The services are even available within the framework of Social Security.

For those guests who wish to spend a longer holiday at our spa, we provide nice rooms in our guest house and apartments.

Those who–in addition to the bathing possibilities–long for fresh air and beautiful surroundings are awaited in our peaceful, quiet and cozy campsite right beside the spa.
