Gran Camping, Pension and Youth Hostel - Esztergom (Budapest and the Central Danube)

Esztergom: Her historical monuments and museums make the city at the western Gateway of the Danube Bend one of the most attractive places of Hungary. Gran Camping is situated in this historical scenery on the "island of Prímás" by the river Danube. The town centre is within ten, the Cathedral is within fifteen minutes reach on foot. By crossing the Danube through Bridge "Maria-Valeria" 400 m along the main road, you can also visit the neighbouring country Slovakia. Being well equipped with public transport facilities (bus, train, ship), the camp-site is a very good starting point for visiting the so called "Danube Bend", and the capital Budapest (46 Km). The Camp-site offers also double- and triple-rooms and first class airconditioned bungalows with 4-6 beds. We also welcome groups of students in rooms for 4-8 People in our youth hostel (140 - 160 beds). The camp-site has the following facilities as well: restaurant, tennis courts, soccer court, playground, swimming pool, etc.
