Demjén, this peaceful, small settlement is situated a few kilometres from Eger in south-western direction. The village is famous for the near thermal spring, the local prize-winning wines, and the special rock formations. It can be the wonderful destination of a holiday surrounding Eger. The calm country, the crystal-clear mountain air, the Thermal Spring at Egerszalók, which is open 24 hours a day, and the friendly people take care of the pleasant pastime of the visitors. The thermal spring is a nature conservation area; its mineral water stimulates the blood circulation. The water is suitable for ease the pain of the joint, and recommended for stomach troubles. The Thermal Spring is in picturesque environ, between beech-trees and pine-forests. The tetarate hill is world-famous. Extremely interesting experience is the night bathing whether in summer or winter, because the warm water and the stars on the sky make the low temperature be forgotten. The lovers of angling can have their passion. Demjén can offer wonderful possibilities for the tourists: the forests covered, surrounding hills, for example the Hegyeskő-bérc, which is a nature conservation area too, the special rock formations, called hive-stones (kaptárkövek) can be the destinations of a trip. The area is especially romantic in autumn, when the hills are colored. When you discovered everything, what the village and the surroundings offer, there are 3 rooms (3-3 persons, plus 1 spare bed) in the house with bathroom, colour TV, telephone. In case you would like to cook, you can use the kitchen. We offer breakfast and full board too. In the garden it is possible to roast on the spit, to cook in a stew-pot. Children can pet the domestic animals. In the courtyard there is a closed carriage-entrance. You are welcome in our pansion.
