The Inn
The Régi Posta Fogadó (the Old Post Office Inn) is the ideal starting point for discovery tours of Debrecen, as it is located in the heart of the city, behind the "Csonka Templom" (Small Protestant Church), in only one minute walking distance to the Piac utca promenade. Many Debrecen sights are in the vicinity of the inn, among others the Protestant Great Church, the Déri Museum, the Csokonai Theatre, the thermal bath and several shopping malls.
The restaurant and inn was completely refurbished in 2011 and can conveniently accommodate up to 24 people in 10 air-conditioned rooms.
In the historical inn there are 7 double and 3 three bed rooms, one of which is the Swedish King Suite. The interior of the room reflects the atmosphere of the 18th century, flavoured with modern 21st century styles, and is therefore singular in Hungary. The rooms include a bathroom with shower or bath-tub and WC, as well as a TV and Wi-Fi access. Fax and safe services are available at reception. Room service is available on demand.
