Dear Guests! We would like to present you general and main information about the medicinal bath of Bük. What you should know about the medicinal water of Bük: it belongs to the calcium-magnesium-hydrocarbon group of water. One liter of water contains 6 to 8000 mg minerals. The temperature of the water plays a big role in the effectiveness of the bathing cure. There are 11 pools with thermal waters on the territory of the spa; the temperature of the water varies between 26 and 40 °C. Seasonally, a swimming pool with anti-overflow system also operates; swimming pools for children are waiting the youngest. The medicinal water of Bük is recommended for the following diseases: chronic locomotor disease; injuries after accident; as a part of the treatment provided after locomotor surgical operation; some neurological and gynecological diseases; on the recommendation of a specialist. It is not advisable in the following cases: constant high blood pressure; advanced heart, circulatory or lung diseases; heart attack; lung embolism; one year after thrombosis; acute diseases, e.g.: fever, inflammation, tuberculosis, tumors, hemophilia, dermatology diseases on a big surface, mental disorder. In case of illness, ask first the recommendation of your doctor and for your safety, respect the rules of healthful bathing. Next to bathing, drinking cure is used with effectiveness as a complement of the treatment in the case of some digestive and ureic diseases. The spacious hall of the spa welcomes the visitors in an esthetic environment. There, you can find: snack-bar; dining section; shops selling books, newspapers and medicinal preparations; information desk; renting possibilities. Romantik camping and pension -- located 300 meters far from the thermal bath -- is waiting the guests in a quiet and calm environment. Our guests can come with camping cars or tents. We ensure their relaxation with the following services. Restaurant (breakfast can be requested); grocery; hair-dresser; beauty parlour; most modern solarium; massage; gift-shop; green grocer; newspapers; periodicals; washing machine; continuous hot and cold water; clean and well-equipped washbasins, WC and showers and in sufficient number. On the camping site, you can find a swimming pool, with anti-overflow system; the use of swimming-cap is compulsory. Playing ground is at the disposal of the children. On the whole territory of the camping, the possibility for electrical plug exists; drinkable water is also available at several places. Thanks to the geographical situation of Bük, pleasant excursions can be made. Several renowned sites can be found in the region: Sopron, Sárvár, Szombathely, Nagycenk, Fertőd, Fertőrákos, Kám, Kőszeg, Velem, etc. It is also possible to make trips to Austria since the borders are close: Szombathely-Bucsu 30 km, Kőszeg 22 km, Sopron, Kópháza 55 km. Sporting facilities within 5 km: tennis, skittles, golf, horse riding. Spa of Bük and Romantik pension can be the most easily reached from main road 84, if you take the road going to Bük at the JET filling station of Sajtoskáli. The camping site is 3 Km far from the filling station.
