Fenyves Hotel*** - Békéscsaba (Southern Great Plain)

Békéscsaba is the seat of Békés County - lying in the southeastern part of the country -, it is also well-known as the „capital of Viharsarok” (Stormy Corner) and the center of the Slovakians living in Hungary. The town with 70.000 inhabitans has the amiable characteristics of the Great Plain region. The proper situation of this town provides departure of excursions for those visitors, who would like to get to know the surrounding region. There are written records already since the 1330-ies , but the development of the town became dinamic just since the 1840-ies . Because of its churches of European fame, and civic buildings the center of the town has an atmosphere of the 19th century’s end. The most important events - attracting many-many frequent visitors - in the town are the following: Csaba Expo (International Fair), City Hall Evenings (Open air evening programs in the court of the City Hall ), Sausage Festival, Elektroház Days, International Puppet-Show Festival. In order you enjoy your staying in the hotels all the rooms and appartmans are furnished with television telephone, refrigerator and in the „Új Fenyves” Hotel - inaugurated in December 1999 - also air condition. Our restaurant is open from 06.00 am. to 22.00 pm., our guests and visitors could taste the traditional and characteristic meals of this region there. Free of charge closed parking area is provided for all the guests staying in our Hotels. All the facilities are available in our hotels for family or other programs/parties, conferences, standing receptions. Our halls are spacious enough to host 10, 25, 35, 60 120 persons. The surrounding grove area provides pleasant atmosphere for garden parties. The quality of the finished new flank meets also the European level, the first floor of this flank provides proper supply also for guests being limited in motion.
