About our pension
Balatonfüred is one of the holiday resorts on the northern shore of Lake Balaton and the most famous one. Due to its favourable location, climate and natural sights, tourism and the related services play a major role in the economic life of the town. A great variety of programmes awaits tourists year by year. The major tourist attractions of the town include Lake Balaton, sailing, the ‘sour water’, the Anna Ball that is organised every year, the Reform Age Days, the Fish and Wine Festival, the Wine Week, etc., let alone the culinary delights provided by the wines and fishes of Lake Balaton.

Our accomodation can be found in Balatonfüred, in Móricz Zsigmond Street, from where the beach is about 15 minutes away on foot, while the Tagore Promenade can be easily reached within a 15-minute walk. Our Pension was opened in May 2000 with a total of 10 air-conditioned rooms for up to 22 guests. All rooms were renovated completely in spring 2019. Room types: 6 double rooms with balcony (double bed, single bed), 2 family rooms, 2 superior rooms with large terrace on the ground floor.

A room on the ground floor equipped to provide all that disabled persons need for a great holiday.

A 7,5 x 3,5 m pool, sunbeds and parasols add to the comfort of your holiday. The coverd pool as well as the Finnish sauna are available in the cold months of the year. You can make your coffee, tea and use the microwave oven in the kitchen on the first floor. A fenced parking lot is provided in the yard (a remote controller to the gate belongs to each room). We do our best to create a familiar atmosphere for all guests to enjoy their stay and return to us.

A sailing boat belonging to the house (type: Balaton 21) offers a nice possibility for 6 persons. It can be rented with an expert buson for sailing. If somebody wanted to angle the sailing boat and a smaller rowing boat would be available for their purpose. September and October are the best months for real angelrs. It is the best time for fishing pikeperch, the finest fish of Lake Balaton. Extra offer of the Gold Haus: In- Mai and October every guest gets a two-hours sailing for free. (Dy spending at least 3 nigths in the house). The Nádas Grill Garden and Tavern situated near the family house (mentioned above) is waiting for the guests from all over the world with its evocative thatched terrace, grilled specialities and Hungarian dishes. Open: from May to October - every day from 12 to 10 p.m.
